Welcome to CCSolidWaste, your online resource for information about solid waste services offered in Calaveras County.

General. If you are unable to leave your old tires with your tire dealer when you purchase new tires, then you can take them to any of the following locations.

Red Hill Transfer Station 4314 Red Hill Road Vallecito	9 am - 5:30 pm Friday - Monday
Wilseyville Transfer Station Blizzard Mine Road Wilseyville Gambi Disposal 968 Church Hill Road San Andreas	9 am - 5:30 pm Friday - Monday 9 am - 5:30 pm Friday - Monday

Reuse/Recycling. All tires are shipped offsite for reuse or recycling.

Two tires per visit are accepted for no charge. If you need to get rid of more than two tires per visit you must take them to Rock Creek. The following charges apply at Rock Creek after the first two.

Passenger tire mounted on wheel
Truck tire (17" -22")
Truck tire mounted on wheels
Tractor tires 22"
Each additional inch over 22"

*Tractor tires are accepted only at Rock Creek Solid Waste Facility.

Waste Tire Hauler Permit Required
State law requires all persons hauling ten or more waste tires at a time to carry a valid "waste tire hauler permit". To obtain a permit or get a one-time exemption, please contact Calaveras County Environmental Health at (209) 754-6399.

If you have a large number of tires or need to arrange for regular collection, contact either of the following registered waste tire haulers:
